River Island is a very reputable High Street store in the UK, and they have just recently confirmed that Rihanna will be collaborating with them on a Spring 2013 capsule collection. There have been speculations that this collaboration has been going on for a few months, but it is official!

 

“Rihanna is a style icon, from street to chic she enjoys her fashion. As soon as we started to work together we knew this was a perfect fit. Rihanna will be designing the collection and we will be sharing our fashion experience with her to develop a range her fans will love.” (Ben Lewis, River Island chief executive). She is no stranger to pushing limits when it comes to clothes; we are most certainly expecting studs, embellishments and of course very edgy pieces of clothing. Rihanna has come out and said she has always wanted to design her own collection, so this is a great opportunity for the singer.
