Louis Vuitton Releases Collaboration with Yayoi Kusama

Anticipation was high on this collection since Louis Vuitton and polka dot extraordinaire Yayoi Kusama announced the collaboration.

Recently announced – Louis Vuitton will be setting up 7 selective pop up stores exclusively showcasing the Kusama collaboration. The Japanese artist has inspired Marc Jacobs immensely and the result is polka dots everywhere! Every piece has a classic Yayoi Kusama twist, there is a contrast of the red and white, black and yellow, as well as other bright colors.

 

Marc Jacobs met Kusama back in 2006 – the anticipation has been bad for us for the last couple months – cannot imagine how long Marc Jacobs has had to wait! The collection will be available on July 11th, and it includes a range of shoes, scarves, bags and many fantastic clothing pieces. As for the pop up stores there are no confirmed dates or locations yet – but rumor has it that there may be one in NYC on July 10th to start the buzz!
