Paris Fashion Week: Celine

Phoebe Philo showed her collection on Sunday at Paris Fashion Week, and color blocking she did. With a small collection of just 22 pieces, the color palette was trés petit.

From vibrant light blues, to orange, the color palette is mainly white and black with pops of color in almost every piece.  The solid color jackets are unfitted and make a statement worth remembering. She also shows some pastels, which are common for this upcoming fall season, and in a deep soft rose, the jacket made a statement. The silhouettes were not fitted, nor unflattering. The well structured pieces were loose fitting on purpose, perhaps it has something to do with Phoebe Philo recently having her third child? For a designer who typically has a more defined waist in her collection, this was different and refreshing.
